In Loving Memory of Romain Vandenbogaerde
Tony and Lorraine would like to express their condolences of the sad loss of Romain Vandenbogaerde who sadly passed away on the 6th August 2011.
We first met Romain in 2010 when he visited the chateau with his son Henri and family. Henri organised the holiday as a surprise for Romain as he was a keen angler. After a wonderful week’s holiday they vowed to return. Two trips were planned for 2011 and Romain was to return for a week with his son Henri and again a few weeks later with his son Bart.
Romain did return for his first visit but became unwell and sadly passed away before he could make his second trip. He was a most wonderful man and will be sadly missed but we are honoured that he had such a wonderful time here and it was his wish to return.
Sadly we didn’t get to meet Bart but our hearts go out to Romain’s family and we wish them all the best for the future.
